GoalsAntibiotics are important tools for human and animal health and concerns about resistance to antibiotics and their rational use in animals has received global interest. However, insufficient attention was paid to scientific discoveries and new technologies that provide an alternative to antibiotics. The purpose of this symposium is to highlight promising research results and new technologies that provide an alternative to antibiotics, to assess the problems associated with their commercialization and use, and provide an effective strategy to support their development.
